We are back in Spain after a long drive through Portugal (300 km). This morning we drove south towards Sagres on a winding road. Just before we reached this town we turned left and drove along the coast of the Algarve towards Spain. I found this a tiring trip mainly because of the hundreds of roundabouts but also because it was just busy. The Algarve coast does not appeal to me although it is without a doubt very beautiful. Unfortunately, the influence of tourism is great and you see billboards, shopping centers and especially many people everywhere. However, Lisa wanted to see the Algarve coast and that has now happened!
When we arrived in Spain, we stopped at the first campsite and drove away immediately. It was busy and no one bothered to talk to Lisa. Fortunately, the second campsite is better but we have decided to go from the coast to the interior as soon as possible because it is busy here and we do not fit in with the public.
Lisa went for a walk and promptly got lost. Just now (21:30) she called me because she was standing in front of the wrong campsite. Fortunately, I know her password and I can determine her phone position and I led her to the campsite. She’s almost there!
Tomorrow I’m going to cycle
