Benia – 3 April 2023

Peter 4

The weather has gotten better finally. After a lot of rain in the night from Saturday to Sunday, it slowly but surely became dry, although still quite cold. But that’s nice walking weather and that’s what we did on Sunday. We walked to the town of Benia and from there we went up using a narrow road to Pedroso at a 250 m higher altitude. Lovely walk although the roads were steep. I injured my right calf about 4 weeks ago and unfortunately I suffered from that again during this walk so the last part was quite tough. All in all more than 11 km walked Sunday.

Today the weather has become much better with a bright blue sky and a somewhat higher temperature and so we walked a bit (6 km) to the village to do some shopping. Lisa walked up towards a church but she couldn’t find it in the end and it was also very steep. We took a well-deserved lunch with various cheeses and fries. Of course Lisa ordered way too much again and then had a lot of regrets

We are now lying in and around the camper and thinking about our destination tomorrow. Probably somewhere near La Coruna but we’ll see. Tonight we’re watching another English detective, at least if we don’t get a call from our kids about broken laptops or other problems. It seems that the cat Mickey had bitten into Tom’s laptop screen and now it is broken. Sure…..
