9 March, Knysna

Peter 9

It’s our last full day in Knysna today. Yesterday we brought Tom to Dysselsdorp and we fetched Lisa’s aunt Cynthia. Because we have often driven the road through George, we have chosen an alternative route yesterday. First we drove to the east via the N2 and shortly after Knysna we drove right onto the R339. This road started just fine but quickly became unpaved and steep but went through beautiful tropical forests. Because of the persistent rain the road was slippery and muddy and the sight was less than 10 meters. In short, good conditions for Tom to show his driving abilities, see the movies on:

The road became narrower and steeper but reasonably passable. Via Uniondale we finally arrived on the road to Dysselsdorp.

The younger sister of Lisa’s mother, Cynthia is now two days here and yesterday she and Lisa talked endlessly about the family.

Tomorrow morning we depart for Dysselsdorp and Tuesday we go to Cape Town

    liefs,
    Flim
