Lisa and I have now arrived in Dysselsdorp after a long drive from Cape Town. I was pretty tired of driving and slept very deep last night assisted by a glass of white wine.
As promised some pictures of the party last Saturday, March 30th where Tamara, Anastasia and Angus have the show by ‘ twerking ‘. There are movies available but these are for adults!
Also a picture of Lisa and Tom who jogged a bit up the mountain towards Chapman’s Peak.
Last week, cousin Angus also made pictures during the barbecue and those are presented here as well. Peter and Rita, as you see, Farrah and Niels have a surprise for you!
Last week was very exciting for everyone and of course there were the usual difficulties but all have been sorted. It is part of being a family.
Today Lisa and I are going to buy the tombstone for her sister Dottie’s tomb so that this can be placed next week. Tomorrow we will pack our suitcases for our departure Wednesday towards Johannesburg.
For us the last 10 days of our holidays have begun and I am quite emotional about it. Of course we are going to miss the family here, but we are also going to see the Dutch family and friends again and that is fine. Lisa and I will spend a couple of days together on the way to Johannesburg (about 1200 km from here) and we look forward to it.
