Today it is finally D-day or actually L-day. We leave in about 4 \u00bd hours and are both working this in our own way. Lisa cleans, since this morning 6 hours, the whole house once more and I get doubts about the taxi we have ordered. Is this big enough? In consultation with the Taxi Centrale I ordered a van for 13:15. Five suitcases and 4 pieces of hand luggage is actually quite a lot.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday we had a delicious Thai dinner with Tom and Tamara and talked to each other. It is also a great adventure for the children of course. We go away but they live for the first time independently and suddenly have to take care of themselves. Will work out and I’m curious how they will change over the next few weeks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We get a lot of mails and apps, and that’s why we realize that it’s unique what we are doing. Six months traveling together through Africa with no more than a vague idea where we want to go. We only planned the first week…..<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At Schiphol there will be some tears and that is good. We know very well what we leave behind but look forward to our trip.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
