Also on this campsite the vast majority are 60+ and retired, but unlike in Evora people are much more active here (with cycling and walking). I’m definitely the youngest and Lisa is the fittest of them all, that’s for sure. It’s a special kind of people I must say….<\/p>\n Today Lisa and I went for a walk together through the nature reserve that is located here on the coast. We just enjoyed the walk that led us through dunes, over rocks and hills and through forests full of Eucalypus trees. Along the way it was full of lavender and succulents. In between we occasionally looked out over the Atlantic Ocean and the many coves that remind me of the Wild Coast in South Africa. Just stunningly beautiful and incredibly good how people deal with that here. The coast is accessible to cars but in moderation. There are small, quiet but clean beaches everywhere with high waves and bright blue water. Today we enjoyed the walk which was not even that long (10 km). As a reward we had lunch in the village where Lisa, stubborn as she is, ordered something she didn’t like and I took a burger that was delicious.
