In less than two weeks Lisa and I will be back in the Netherlands. In fact, in two weeks we will dine out with my sister and her husband! Hanneke, do you already know where?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Today is my uncle Dick’s birthday and I congratulated him via mail and SMS with his 70th birthday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday we went out to dinner with everyone in the restaurant Dunes and what a mess was that. To get some drinks we had to wait forever, the starter we got after the main course (wrongly prepared) and as a blow the waiter, citing the amount of guests (8 plus a baby), wanted 10% tip. I hardly ever get angry in restaurants (I leave that to Farrah and Lisa) but here….. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately also some bad news this morning because Tamara decided to spend the rest of the holidays with her Aunt Lilly and nieces Judy and Lynn. The tensions, that go together with living in one house with different people, were rising high and she wanted to have peace of mind. Those who know Tamara know that this is an incredibly clever and wise decision which she could not have taken a few years ago. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As parents, Lisa and I are very sad about this and the same applies to my parents in law. Our love for our children is without conditions or preference.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow we will have one last BBQ (with Tamara) and Sunday Lisa and I will drive with my in-laws to Dysselsdorp and then towards Johannesburg. The children fly home Tuesday, April 2; we Wednesday 10 April.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
