It is now Friday morning March 15th and we are going to have breakfast in our B&B and will then leave for Botswana. We slept here for three nights, a little longer than expected, but in Hentiesbaai, where we camped, the water pressure suddenly dropped and then you can’t go to the toilet anymore. Swakopmund was just an hour’s drive so we quickly booked something there.
The car had a turn and we walked around here and, yesterday, had a delicious meal.
Lisa forgot some cash in the car and this was neatly picked up by the people who washed the car in for the garage yesterday. You really have to pay attention to your money here and we also fall for it.
A cup of coffee that was settled with the debit card (without PIN code) also suddenly cost almost €60. I left a review on Google and challenged them to give the overpaid money to a charity. We will see…..
Now have breakfast and then drive almost 500 km to Gobabis near the border.
Goede reis verder, ff 3 nachtjes luxe voor wat extra centjes. Auto zal wel weer snel onder stof zitten ea.
Ontbijtje ziet er goed uit. Ik doe het hier weer met net gehaald vers brood van de bakker, Texels volkoren en een plekje kaas?
