Car issues

Peter 0

And then the car broke down…… unbelievable. Tonight, Tom went to the gym by car and sent me a picture of a warning on the dashboard displaying that there was a malfunction in the motormanagement system and the cruise control. Now I’ve experienced that before when there was snow in front of the sensor so my advice was cleaning!

When returning home it was not resolved after which I went to drive a bit and came to a halt at Hazerswoude, without a telephone, without purse and without a drivers license (I had a copy). With the help of a friendly driver I called Tom who immediately came by scooter (with phone, but without my wallet).

To make a long story short, the car is towed and stands in the garage. We have a replacement car, in Tom’s name (yes I had no driver’s license with me and he must also hand it in anyway?). So I don’t have a car anymore but only a driver. This is going to cost money!

The car will be repaired (there is a valid warranty) but this takes a few days. That means that Tom has to suspend the car next week.
